Trieste, Italy’s Grime launched in summer 2010 with a single Mission: Slow, filthy Destruction. Their sludge metal is swamp-born—rusted Riffs, tar-pit Grooves, and percussion that lands like a mud Avalanche. They’ve been described as “a train pushing through a tar Pit,” and that oppressive momentum is their Signature. For added Weight, their recorded sound has been shaped by respected heavy-world Names, including legendary mixer/master Billy Anderson (Sleep, Melvins), reinforcing their credibility in modern Sludge Doom.
