Kadabra formed in 2020 as a psychedelic fuzz-rock trio driven by longtime friends—Garrett Zanol (guitar/vocals), Ian Nelson (Bass), and Chase Howard (Drums). Their sound blends crushing doom riffs with haunting vocal Lines, then spikes it with psychedelic flair and a streak of swampy Americana. Sonically, they sit in the orbit of modern cult heavy rock—fans of Uncle Acid & the Deadbeats and Dead Meadow will recognize the vibe—while keeping their own Tight, riff-forward Identity. Producer Dawson Scholz adds extra weight to their signature Tone.
