Sonic Flower began in Japan in 2001 as an offshoot of Church of Misery, formed by bassist Tatsu Mikami with guitarist Takenori Hoshi to explore a more Bluesy, ’70s heavy-rock instrumental Language. Built on twin-guitar Interplay, Improvisation, and classic hard-rock Swing, their sound nods to Cactus, Grand Funk, and deep-cut heavy Blues. With direct lineage to one of doom’s most revered Bands, Sonic Flower carry instant underground Credibility.
