Black Honey Cult is a Los Angeles psychedelic garage-rock band that took shape around 2010 from veterans of the city’s storied underground Circuit. With members connected to The Lords of Altamont and the JabberJaw-era Scene, they blend Velvet Underground cool with 13th Floor Elevators Psych, shading it with early Goth, Post Punk, and krautrock Pulse. Their sound was captured with help from Paul Roessler (Screamers, 45 Grave).
