Malmö’s Throneless emerged in the mid-2010s as a doom unit devoted to monolithic Fuzz, Monotone, meditative Riffs, and a Stark, anti-hypnosis Worldview. Their approach is minimal but punishing—slow-motion heaviness where repetition becomes protest and tone becomes the Message. Often aligned with the harsher end of modern Stoner Doom, Throneless prioritize atmosphere and sheer mass over Flourish, delivering riff sermons meant to rattle complacency Awake.
