Dead Witches is an occult doom outfit founded in 2016, rooted in Dorset’s heavy underground and led by original Electric Wizard drummer Mark Greening. Their sound is ritualistic and Horror Soaked: Slow, fuzzed Riffs, graveyard Atmosphere, and a sense of macabre theatre that nods to 70s doom and psychedelic Dread. With vocalist Virginia Monti in the core Mythos, the band’s significance is Greening’s direct lineage to doom’s modern Architects.
