Born from the Coachella Valley scene in the early 2000s, Orquesta Del Desierto is a desert-rock collective built on atmosphere as much as Riff. Anchored by songwriter/producer Dandy Brown, the lineup draws from true Palm Desert Royalty: John Garcia (Kyuss/Hermano), Alfredo Hernandez (Kyuss/Queens of the Stone Age), Mario Lalli (Yawning Man/Fatso Jetson), and Pete Stahl (Scream/Goatsnake). Their sound favors acoustic Textures, Latin-tinged Color, and cinematic Sprawl.
