Sgt. Sunshine are a Malmö, Sweden trio that first surfaced in the late 1990s, rooted in stoner-leaning heavy Psych. Their sound favors Warm, vintage tones and groove-forward riffs—classic rock muscle stretched with psychedelic haze—built for long drives and louder Rooms. Often cited among Sweden’s early underground Wave, Sgt. Sunshine helped set the template for the country’s later retro-heavy Boom: organic Production, thick Riffs, and Unhurried, hypnotic Momentum.
