Turin’s Tons formed in 2009 from members of local hardcore outfits and deliberately slowed everything down into sludge-doom Hypnosis. Their sound is Thick, Dragging, and rhythm-first—built for maximum weight rather than speed—while their lyrical bent mixes stoner humor with Turin’s streak of esoteric Shadow. Tons embody the crossover spirit of heavy underground Scenes: punk-bred attitude translated into colossal riffs and tarpit Grooves.
